Saturday was my mother's birthday and yesterday was Mother's Day. Wasn't it great to lead double celebrations. She looked surprise after work. I'm satisfied. The plan goes like this...

My mum was working morning shift. So that's the right time to strike. My dad and I planned to surprise her since we didn't celebrate her birthday on time! We went to Yishun market and bought some ingredients. Now i hate to go there on Sundays. So many people and it's totally crowded. But for the sake of her, i have to. No regrets. After all that buying, i fetched my sister from Madrasah and headed home. That's when the difficult part comes.

I've got to cook and help my dad!! As a former chef from my school, i can handle it. Hehe!! But the head chef is mu better than me. My dad of course. We cook a number of dishes too. From fried mee to sambal udang( how to say in english?), fries, hotdogs and fishballs in satay sticks, epok2, some fruits and lastly,THE BIRTHDAY CAKE. We didn't bake it of course. Just bought it from cakeshop.

At four, almost everything is ready. And we waited. And waited. And waited. Success came at 4.30pm. Hehe.. All the hard work paid off handsomely. I'm just glad. So we ate together until we are out of breath. Eat so much some more la!

After that, my family went to visit my uncle and my grandparents. I drink teh and plain water. 2 glasses some more. Wahlau! Stomach feel like bursting. At my grandparent's house, i drink 100 plus. Arrgghh!! Stomach pain sey. 1 hr later, we went home. A great day to remember.
